Liebherr manufactures its 2,000th mobile harbour crane
Liebherr has marked the milestone of producing and delivering its 2,000th mobile harbour crane (MHC) after Marcegaglia acquired an LHM 600, the sixth Liebherr MHC for the Italian company.
The specifically-configured LHM 600 has a lifting capacity of up to 154 tonnes and outreach of 61 m, and is perfectly suited to handling ships up to new-Panamax size.
Its main work will involve steel products like coils, sheets and strips while the hydrostatic drive and control systems enable precise and seamless cargo handling.
