Unión Portuaria del Pacifico (UPdP), 80% owned by YILPORT Holding and 20% by Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA), has marked the first 100 days of operations in El Salvador.
UPdP began operations on December 16, 2024, at the Acajutla and La Unión Terminals through a project of mixed economy partnership with CEPA.
YILPORT Holding and CEPA will jointly operate the Acajutla and La Unión Terminals under a 50-year concession agreement with an option to extend for an additional 50 years.
