Salerno Container Terminal acquires new Konecranes Gottwald MHC
Salerno Container Terminal (SCT), part of the Gallozzi Group, has orders a Konecranes Gottwald ESP.10 mobile harbour crane (MHC) with an external power supply to support a modernisation project.
Booked in Q1 2025, the handover of the crane, which is equipped a 64 m boom and a maximum lifting capacity of 125 tonnes, is scheduled for Q4 2025.
The crane will be used to handle containers on super post-Panamax vessels of up to 15,000 teu and 22 rows across, and is designed to operate with a twin-lift spreader.
