TCP, the company that manages the Paranaguá Container Terminal, reached a new all-time high of handling reefer containers of 35,809, an increase of 17%, for the first quarter in 2025.
In June 2024, TCP completed the expansion of its reefer yard, an area for storing refrigerated containers, such as those used to transport meat and frozen foods.
With a 45% increase in the number of sockets, from 3,624 to 5,268, the Paranaguá Container Terminal has the largest reefer yard in South America.
