Loaded containerised cargo boosts Port of NY/NJ’s March results
Port of New York and New Jersey (NY/NJ) surpassed other US ports with regards to loaded teu handled in March 2025, up 10% year-on-year.
The port handled 516,757 loaded teu in March, with total cargo increasing 12% year-on-year to 783,732 teu during this month.
For the first quarter total, the Port of NY/NJ handled just over 2.2m teu, a 10% increase compared to the same period.
