CMA CGM partners with Saigon Newport Corporation to develop new container terminal in Haiphong
CMA CGM Group has signed a partnership agreement with Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) to develop a new deepwater terminal in Haiphong, northern Vietnam.
With a total investment of US$600m, the agreement covers the design, construction, and operation of the Lach Huyen terminals 7&8, located in the Lach Huyen area in Haiphong.
The terminal will have a capacity of 1.9m teu and is scheduled to open in 2028.
