Kazakhstan and China launch new container terminal in Almaty
Kazakhstan and China have launched the Zhetysu container terminal in Almaty as part of a strategic partnership between both countries.
The project was developed by a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) and Xi’an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation.
The terminal will become a strategic centre for the consolidation of cargo flows and the largest import hub in Kazakhstan.
