TecPlata launches new La Plata-Montevideo service
TecPlata, International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) Buenos Aires terminal, has launched a new regular service connecting the Port of La Plata to the Port of Montevideo.
TecPlata introduced the 3S Shuttle Service Solution in partnership with Independencia Shipping Lines (ISL), offering the Argentinian market with an alternative that would help decentralise existing port infrastructure bogged down by increasing volumes.
The service is operated by the ro-ro cargo vessel iNTREpiDO, which loads export cargo from TecPlata for transhipment in Uruguay.
