Construction has begun at the Port of Klaipėda on a site dedicated to green hydrogen production and supply which will help the port to become the first in Lithuania and the Baltic States to produce green hydrogen.
This stage of the project is due to be completed within a few months, and, by next spring, the Port of Klaipėda will be able to produce green hydrogen.
Algis Latakas, director general of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority, said: “We have reached a very important stage of this ambitious project – one that is now visible not only in documents but also on the ground: construction is underway.
