COSCO Shipping Ports increases container throughput by 6% in first half of 2025
COSCO Shipping Ports has reported a 6% increase in total container throughput to 74.3m teu for the first six months of 2025 despite the moderate recovery phenomenon observed in global economy.
Marine transportation channels were still under significant pressure due to the continuous simmering of trade protectionism and the recurring regional conflicts.
In the face of these challenges, the Company has effectively enhanced its overall operational resilience by continued deepening of its lean operation management and constant optimisation of its resource allocation and business processes.
