Rail volumes at the Port of Gothenburg grew by 4% year-on-year in H12025, reaching record levels and maintaining its position as the dominant inland transport mode.
More than 60% of all container freight at the Port of Gothenburg is now moved by train and the half-year increase has put the port on course for an all-time high in rail volumes.
Growth is being driven by inland terminals across Sweden, in the north, south, as well as the east.
