Maersk has delivered strong financial results in the third quarter of 2025, achieving sequential growth across all business segments driven by operational improvements and proactive cost measures.
Despite the positivity, in this period across the total business, revenue was US$14.2bn, EBITDA was US$2.7bn and EBIT was US$1.3bn, all down year-on-year in the third quarter in 2024.
In Ocean, the Gemini Cooperation enabled significant cost savings and supported 7% loaded volumes growth year-on-year and freight rates were broadly stable quarter-on-quarter.
