HAROPA PORT has secured €6.1m (US$7.1m) in European funding under the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) launched in 2022 by the European Commission to support low-carbon projects across the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
Selected under the mechanism’s second call for projects, HAROPA PORT is the only entity chosen for funding electrification of both maritime and inland port infrastructure.
HAROPA PORT is accelerating the deployment of its green corridor strategy – central to its ambitions for the energy transition and decarbonisation of its activities – through its shoreside power connection programme.
