Telia launches Lithuania’s first private 5G SA network at Port of Klaipėda
Telia has launched Lithuania’s first private 5G standalone (SA) network at the Port of Klaipėda, fully funded and installed by the company with real-life testing in the port environment now able to begin.
This marks a new milestone in the country’s communications technology and was officially introduced with a symbolic first call.
A private 5G SA network is a closed system, fully separated from the public mobile network and operated by the company itself.
