Samskip introduces Copenhagen rail service

The shuttle service will connect Duisburg with Copenhagen

Samskip Van Dieren Multimodal has announced that daily rail shuttle services connecting its Duisburg intermodal terminal (Germany) to Copenhagen, Denmark via Odense will commence on November 4, 2013. The world’s first quay crane lit entirely by LED floodlights in the Port of Valencia

In keeping with its EMAS environmental management system, Grup TCB’s container terminal subsidiary TCV Stevedoring Company in the Port of Valencia has just implemented the world’s first Super post-Panamax quay crane to be lit entirely with LED technology that was developed and provided by Ingineria de Aplicaciones Energeticas S.l., (EDAE). Antwerp strengthens its position

The Port of Antwerp is pleased that the recently announced P3 Alliance has chosen it as a European platform. On the route from the Far East, Antwerp gets an extra call and goes from three to four of the total of eight calls that remain. Moreover, for one service Antwerp is also the first port of call which is an extra boost. On the transatlantic route, the number of calls to Antwerp is retained.
