The independent infrastructure investment fund, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), has announced that with a group of its LP co-investors it is to buy a 35% share of Terminal Investment Limited SA (TIL), the terminal operating division of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) for US$1.9bn.
