Hamburg Süd have entered a slot exchange with UASC on several routes

German shipping company Hamburg Süd has entered the east-west trade through signing a “global co-operation agreement” with United Arab Shipping Company (UASC).

The two shipping companies, the world’s 11th and 18th biggest respectively according to Alphaliner, have agreed a slot-exchange which will give Hamburg Süd slots on several UASC routes.
