Maersk Container Industry (MCI) has introduced an energy meter feature on all MCI Star Cool reefers which logs energy consumption in real time.
Once a reefer fitted with the meter is turned on the data provided can be monitored via a modem or manually at any time during the voyage until it reaches its destination.
This adds to Maersk’s Remote Container Management system, which allows real-time monitoring of the company’s cold chain operations.
