Equipment manufacturer Konecranes has launched a range of automated intermodal solutions to fit different container handling scenarios.
Released under ‘Avolution of Intermodal’, Konecranes has unveiled four concepts, two for joint rail and deep-sea terminals, one for joint truck and rail terminals, and one for a typical rail facilities.
The solutions will provide manned-to-automated growth paths, remote monitoring capabilities and intelligent software control.
