The Port of Sines has begun its expansion work, which will allow the facility to double containerised cargo capacity, with the consignment of the East Breakwater enlargement.

Representing a total investment of approximately €72m (US$78.5m), the enlargement of the breakwater was consigned to Condural – Engenharia SA.
