Camco to implement truck OCR at four DUSS terminals

DUSS operates 24 terminals in Germany

DUSS, Germany’s largest inland terminal operator for intermodal rail-road transport is to integrate truck optical character recognition (OCR) systems from Camco Technologies for gate automation at its terminals in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig and Stuttgart.

The AI-based image recognition technology will register in and outgoing trucks, containers and semi-trailers.

Built-in AI processors will analyse images on the camera speeding up data availability, leaving out the need for separate AI servers.
