APMT implements new operational structure

APM Terminals (APMT) has introduced a new operational structure as part of its ‘Safer, Better, Bigger’ strategy in order to improve its agility and enable responsible growth.

As part of this new operational structure, the company has established three macro regions which include Africa & Europe, Americas and Asia & Middle East in addition to APMT’s Hubs & Collaboration organisation, which primarily focuses on synergies and innovation opportunities between terminals and Maersk Ocean.

Keith Svendson, APMT CEO, said: “As we dive deeper into our strategy execution this year, we are introducing changes that help us keep up with market developments and customers’ expectation, and which make us safer, more agile and better performing.
