Liebherr has delivered a new LHM 800 High Rise mobile harbour crane (MHC) to the Port of Esbjerg to replace a Liebherr LHM 600 MHC which could not be delivered last year due to an incident in the Kiel Canal.
The original piece of equipment was damaged as it passed under the Holtenau High Bridge and several Liebherr service engineers and technical specialists were sent to assess the situation on site and to assist with the recovery immediately after the incident.
Roman Chopyk, area manager for Liebherr MHCs, said: “We have a long and cooperative relationship with the Port of Esbjerg.
