Bridgestone Americas has introduced the V-Steel Port Container Straddle (VPCS) radial tyre, specially designed for straddle carriers used in port terminals and intermodal yards.
According to the US-based tyre manufacturer, the new VPCS has been engineered with enhanced load capacity, speed rating and durability for more efficient operations and extended service life.
Rob Seibert, off the road president for US and Canada at Bridgestone Americas, said: “Ports face unique challenges and need equipment that remains productive in virtually any kind of condition, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
