Hapag-Lloyd’s newest member of its executive board, Dheeraj Bhatia, has also been appointed CEO of the new Rotterdam-based Hapag-Lloyd Terminal Holding, in which Hapag-Lloyd’s infrastructure holdings will be pooled.
In addition to the creation of Hapag-Lloyd Terminal Holding, a new Terminal & Infrastructure portfolio will be established on the executive board.
Bhatia, whose appointment to the executive board will be effective January 1, 2024, has more than 20 years’ experience in the container shipping business.
