The container vessel that caused the collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge was refloated at approximately 7am EDT on Monday and has been moved away.
The M/V Dali crashed into one of the bridge’s supporting columns of March 26 after it lost power, killing six construction workers, and had remained in place since.
Once free of its position, tugboats were deployed to escort the vessel at roughly 1mph on its 2.5-mile journey to the local marine terminal.
