Taylor Machine Works has provided the first five commercially available battery electric zero emission top handlers to Yusen Terminals at the Port of Los Angeles.
The five commercially available top handlers are the first to go into operation in the US and are expected to drastically reduce Yusen’s carbon footprint.
Marking a significant milestone in Yusen Terminal’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the Taylor ZLC 996 electric top handlers are designed to operate for up to 18 hours on a single charge thus maximising productivity while minimising environmental impact.
