The Port of New York and New Jersey (Port of NY/NJ) recorded double-digit volume growth In June, up nearly 14% year-on-year to total 708,935 teu.
June marks the port’s fourth consecutive month surpassing 700,00 teu, as well as its seventh consecutive month of year-on-year growth as total volumes surpass 4.2m teu for the year through to June.
Imports were up 12% in June, totalling 366,099 teu, with imported loads at the Port of NY/NJ reaching 2.51m teu from January through to June 2024.
