CMA CGM has signed a 25-year joint venture agreement with Marsa Maroc to equip and operate half of the Nador West Med container terminal.
The joint venture, in which CMA CGM will hold 49% and Marsa Maroc with 51%, will equip and operate 750 m of quay and 35 ha of yard at the container terminal.
Within the 25-year timeframe, both parties will make major investments totalling US$280m with the aim of achieving an annual capacity of 1.2m teu.
