ICTSI makes major investments at its flagship terminal, MICT

Manila International Container Terminal

International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s (ICTSI)’s flagship Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) has made significant investments into expanding capacity and improving terminal efficiency to help support growing trade volumes.

Included within this, MICT is constructing Berth 8 designed for ultra-large container vessels (ULCVs) of up to 18,000 teu which will add 200,000 teu in capacity thus raising volume handling capability to 3.5m teu.

The additional yard space will support the new berth while easing yard utilisation for increased manoeuvrability.
