Container volumes at the Port of Hamburg remained stable in 2024, despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, as it handled 7.8m teu for the year.
Throughput was up just below 1% compared to 2023, with loaded containers accounting for a vast majority of volume at 87%, up 1.2% to 6.8m teu.
