MSC launches new container line between Gothenburg and Asia

MSC has launched a new container service between the Port of Gothenburg and Asia, utilising vessels with a capacity of over 15,000 teu to transport goods from Gothenburg to ports in China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

The first vessel in the service, MSC Auriga with a capacity of over 15,000 teu, called at the port on April 6 and will depart for ports such as Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Yokohama, Singapore and Busan.

Through this service Swedish import and export businesses also reaches new and growing markets like Vietnam and Thailand.
