Container throughput at Hamburger Hafen Logistik AG’s (HHLA) container terminals has increased by 6% to 1.54m in the first quarter of 2025, despite the continually weak German economy, geopolitical tensions and increasing uncertainty due to US trade policy.
Group revenue rose by 20% to €435.6m (US$383m) and operating result climbed by 87% to €32.5m (US$36m).
In the port logistics subgroup, revenue also increased by 20% to €426.3m (US$475m) and operating result more than doubled to €28.8m (US$32m).
