Porto Itapoá has become the first Brazilian terminal to acquire three fully electric empty loaders and one electric reachstacker as part of its commitment to sustainability.
In addition to its existing fleet, the terminal has incorporated seven more electric terminal tractors, now totalling 27 units, the largest fleet of its kind in the country.
With the new equipment, Porto Itapoá now saves over 600,000 litres of fuel annually, avoiding the emission of approximately 2,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases (GHG).
