Container volumes on the rise for Georgia Ports Authority in fiscal year 2025

The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) moved 5.7m teu in fiscal year 2025, an increase of 9%, marking Port of Savannah’s second busiest year on record.

Port of Savannah moved 410,000 teu in June and Georgia Ports averaged more than 475,000 teu per month in the fiscal year just ended – March, April and May each came in over 500,000 teu.

This growth rate shows continuing strength in Georgia’s logistics trajectory.
