TTI Algeciras submits expansion project for phase B of Isla Verde Exterior
TTI Algeciras has officially submitted its expansion project for development on Phase B of Isla Verde Exterior to the Port Authority of Algeciras Bay (APBA), representing an investment of €150m (US$18m).
The initiative covers an additional 160,000 sq m and will allow the terminal to add up to 500,000 teu to reach 2.1m teu handling capacity.
Additionally, the investment allows the concession period to be extended until 2065, which significantly strengthens the company’s long-term prospects.
