FERNRIDE begins transition to driverless operations at HHLA TK Estonia

FERNRIDE's fleet in Tallinn

Automation solutions provider FERNRIDE has begun the operational transition to driverless operation of terminal tractors at Hamburger Hafun und Logistik AG’s (HHLA) HHLA TK Estonia terminal, near Tallinn.

HHLA TK Estonia and FERNRIDE aim to set new standards for safety and efficiency in port logistics through its driverless operations project.

The transition to driverless operations follows the successful certification of FERNRIDE’s safety concept and system design by TÜV SÜD, as well as approval by the Estonian Transport Administration (ETA).
