Port of Gothenburg launches new service to and from Asia
The Port of Gothenburg has launched a new service to and from Asia after the first call of the 18,270 teu Morten Maersk under the new arrangement on Thursday September 4, 2025.
With the addition, the Port of Gothenburg has two weekly direct links to Asia: MSC’s service every Sunday, and the Gemini Alliance’s new service every Thursday.
In July, the Gemini Alliance – a partnership between Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd – announced adjustments to its Asia-Europe loop.
