The Port Authority of Santos (APS) has announced an R$844m (US$160m) investment plan for infrastructure at the Port of Itajaí.
A highlight is the removal of the wreck of the Pallas ship – an estimated investment of R$68m (US$13m) and a 100-year awaited investment.
The APS expects to conduct assessment dives next month and complete the removal of the sunken hull in the first half of 2026.
