Container throughput at the Port of Hamburg increased by 8% to 6.3m teu after the third quarter of 2025, driven by Asia and Europe despite a decline in US volumes.
For the first three quarters of the year, container throughput from Asia grew 11% and Europe was up 14%.
Meanwhile, container traffic with the US continued to be affected by complications in trade and showed in the 24% to 395,000 teu.
