Klaipėda Port receives equipment for green hydrogen production project

About 127 tonnes of green hydrogen will be produced annually

Klaipėda Port has received the equipment at the site where the hydrogen station will be built, marking a significant milestone in its green hydrogen production project, which has no analogues in Lithuania or neighbouring ports.

The project developers have moved even closer to their goal following the successful completion of tests on the pipeline installed at the site.

The green hydrogen production and supply station, which will start operating at Klaipėda Port next year, will house a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) type electrolyzer.
