Modern Terminals welcomes first vessel from Chile’s Cherry Express seasonal service

Modern Terminals, Hong Kong, has welcomed the season’s first Cherry Express vessel from Valparaiso, carrying fresh Chilean cherries for the markets in South China and the rest of China.

Operated by Hapag-Lloyd, MSC, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and HMM, the Cherry Express is a season service that offers a fast transit times of 23 days for cherry shipments from Chile to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong has been the main gateway for cherry shipments to China and the rest of Asia for several years.
