A.P. Moller-Maersk has inaugurated its new depot in Manzanillo, Mexico, marking a strategic investment of US$15m to reinforce the nation’s logistics network.
The depot is situated just five km from Manzanillo Port, the country’s busiest gateway handling nearly half of Mexico’s containerised cargo.
It spans 31,000 sq m, has a capacity of 6,018 teu in addition to 50 reefer plugs and is designed to help reduce first- and last-mile bottlenecks to enable faster, more efficient cargo flows through the strategic hub.
