HHLA to deploy Navis N4 TOS

HHLA Container Terminal Altenwerder will use the N4 TOS

Navis has announced that its N4 terminal operating system (TOS) will be deployed at all three Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA)’s container terminals at the Port of Hamburg as part of a multi-terminal deal.

According to the agreement, which is expected to optimise terminal operations at multiple sites, handle cargoes more effectively and meet evolving customer demands, the TOS will be used at the Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA), Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB) and Container Terminal Tollerort (CTT).

As part of the agreement, Navis and HHLA will work together to deliver N4 and support HHLA’s requirements, which include multi-terminal operations in Hamburg, the support of Electronic data interchange (EDI) process flows, the handling of feeder vessels on a port wide basis over a number of terminals and Hamburg rail operations support.
