APL unveils Japan-Russia service
American President Lines (APL) has launched a weekly Japan-Russia service, which it claims is the only of its kind currently available.
The Japan Russia Express (JRX) will be jointly operated with Russian logistics firm Fesco and will commence sailing from Yokohama on August 24.
Cargo travelling from Yokohama to Vostonchny and Vladivostock will be delivered in seven and nine days respectively, while shipments from Kobe to the same two Russian ports will arrive in four and six days respectively.
