Cavotec to electrify RTG cranes at DPW Jebel Ali

The conversion into E-RTGs will see the machines connected to the electric grid through motorised cable reels on the quay, cutting emissions to zero at the point of use, thereby improving air quality at the port.

This project reflects Cavotec’s continued growth in the Middle East market; earlier this year, the company was awarded significant orders, one with Muscat International Airport, the other with Dubai International Airport, for advanced in-ground utility systems.
