Port of Bilbao joins new MSC direct service linking Northern Europe and South America

The Bilbao Port Authority has announced that the Port of Bilbao will form part of a new weekly, direct service, operated by MSC, starting on December 20, connecting Northern Europe with the West Coast of South America. 

The new service is one of the most significant milestones in recent years for the Port of Bilbao and strengthens its position as a strategic hub for international trade. 

Bilbao will be the last port of call on the Iberian Peninsula and the penultimate port in Europe before the voyage to South America, offering unbeatable transit times for exports and imports from its extensive hinterland.
