As part of what it calls a “strategic effort to develop and enhance its services in South America” the company will serve the port of Asuncion via a barge service connecting to Montevideo, Uruguay and onward through the company’s global and regional network to major trade routes.
The company operates the Asia South America East Coast with direct connections to major ports in China, as well as an elaborate Intra-America network connecting to destinations worldwide via its hub in Kingston, Jamaica.
The line’s new agency in Paraguay is open for business and serves the market in both import and export.
