APMT Moín hits 1m teu milestone

APM Terminals (APMT)’s Moín Container Terminal (MCT) has moved 1m teu in less than 10 months of operation, bringing it closer to the next phase which will be implemented at 1.5m teu.

During the operation in which Moín’s millionth teu was unloaded, productivity exceeded 28 movements per hour on each of the terminal’s six gantry cranes.

Moín’s 1,000 local members of staff have broken multiple productivity records since the opening of the terminal in February this year.
