Group 207, a maritime logistics operator at the Port of Ashdod, has implemented Oosto’s facial recognition technology for video surveillance of all cargo-handling activities for its customers.

According to the tech firm, being able to instantly recognise authorised individuals has led to a substantial amount of manpower saved, reduction in man-hours, increased operational transparency and delivered a quick return on investment.

Oosto has calculated waiting time reductions of 15-20 minutes per driver on average since its OnAccess solution was implemented for security-screening authentication of cargo and ground-handling personnel at the 70,000 sq m facility.
